Hmmm… What is Mid-Century Modern ?
Mid-century Modern (MCM) is an aesthetic movement that emerged in the mid-20th century between the two world wars. It was very popular in interior design, architecture, and graphic design. Indeed, it's not surprising to still find certain so-called vintage furniture and objects in our second-hand shops today. Because they were designed at the time with durability and quality in mind, they are still functional.
