Installation guide for electrostatic film
Electrostatic film is installed on a clean, smooth glass surface, without permanent glue. It is practical for adding a decorative effect or privacy to a window, glass door, or partition.
Clean the glass, spray soapy water, position the film, then squeegee out the water and bubbles. Carefully trim the excess for a neat finish.

1. Prepare the surface
It is important that the glass is perfectly clean, free of dust or residue, smooth and dry. You will get a good result by using a clean microfiber cloth and a window cleaner. It is ideal to wait before installing the film if the walls adjacent to the glass have been painted within the last two weeks. The use of water could damage the new paint. It is also important to clean the surface around the glass thoroughly so that no dust gets between the film and the glass during installation.
2. Prepare the installation
It is best to proceed with 2.
Remove the electrostatic shape from its white backing film. The first person will hold the film in front of them. The second person will spray the surface generously with the soap and water solution. Rags will be very useful at this stage, as there will likely be a lot of water on the floor. Also spray the window with the soapy water solution.
3. Install the film
Apply the film to the window, ensuring it is correctly positioned. Use an applicator squeegee (for example, a credit card wrapped in a paper towel) to remove any water trapped under the film. Press firmly on the squeegee.
The advantage of electrostatic film is that its installation is temporary. You can remove the film without damaging the glass and reapply it to another surface if needed. To properly store the film, keep the electrostatic film flat.
