Level
1L water + 2 Tbsp dish soap
Measuring tape
Application spatula (included)
Xacto style knife
Rags

1. Preparing the surface

It is important that the window be clean. It should be free of dust and residue. This includes the window frame and sill. You will get the best results by using a clean microfibre cloth and the glass cleaner. It is recommended to wait 2 weeks before installing your frost if the adjacent walls have been painted. The water could leave marks in fresh paint.

2. Preparing your installation
It is recommended to have two people for the installation.

One person will hold the unrolled vinyl by two corners and as far from the floor as possible. The second person will remove the transparent backing from the vinyl. The adhesive side will be facing the second person. Peel the non-adhesive backing from top to bottom while spraying the adhesive side with your mixture of water and dish soap. Now spray the window or glass. Don’t be shy. It is important that the surfaces be very wet. When both the adhesive side of the vinyl and the window are wet you can apply your window vinyl.

3. Installation

Your panel is designed to be installed evenly with the bottom and the left side of your surface. You should have enough water on the glass surface to be able to slide the vinyl into place. It is not recommended to remove the vinyl from the window. Use your application spatula covered with a cloth to firmly press the water out from between the glass and the vinyl. Press from the middle push the water out towards the side and the bottom. We recommend that you wet the surface of the vinyl before beginning to remove the water so as not to scratch it.

4. Trimming the excess

The extra vinyl should be on the right and on the top of your surface. It can be cut away with your knife. We suggest that this step is done when your window film has dried so it does not move or lift while you cut.
