August Artist of the Month: Leslie Passerino

Even though the days are still hot and the heat waves are in full swing, let's be honest: back to school is just around the corner!

We're not here to talk to you about school supplies, lunches or routines. No, no! We want to show you something beautiful and refreshing to help you get through this sometimes chaotic back-to-school period.

To do that, we'd like to introduce our August artist of the month, Leslie Passerino. This year, for the return to class, we wanted to look beyond the walls of your home. Why not decorate your classroom, the daycare, the staff room, or the hallways of your school?

Leslie's style perfectly matches the versatile collection we had in mind: colourful, playful, whimsical illustrations that are also wonderfully soft.

Leslie wears many hats. One of them is illustration, specializing in patterns designed for textiles. She arrived from France in 2001 with her husband, her 3 kids and her 4 cats, and has been drawing her adorable characters since 2018.

She has a particular love for children's illustrations. Her work is used by several companies around the world for children's clothing.

To kick off her collection, Leslie brings us 5 sets of wall decals. Easier to install than wallpaper, you can arrange them however you like to suit your classroom, your homework corner at home or your daycare's play area.
