Summer Is Finally Here!

The school year is winding down, the sun is getting warmer and camping trips are just around the corner. All the signs are there, summer is at our doorstep!

For Décor Imprimé's very first summer collection, we wanted to bring you patterns in pastel tones, fun wall decals and floral designs that capture the feel of the season. Get ready to discover this capsule collection featuring more than 25 wallpaper murals and decals dreamed up by our collaborating artists.

Flowers take the spotlight

Summer means flowers. It was clear to us that our summer collection needed floral patterns and greenery. Several of our artists, including Natasha Prévost, Hilary Jane and Vingt-six juin wowed us with original floral patterns.

Natasha loves drawing delicate vintage flowers in neutral colours that give any room a romantic look. With the rising popularity of farmhouse-style homes and decor, her wallpaper will look right at home.

Hilary Jane is known for her graceful light-and-dark blends with a psychedelic feel. For this summer collection, she offers up more classic flowers in brighter tones than we're used to seeing from her, and we tip our hats to these choices.

Finally, when we think of flowers, the artist Vingt-six juin immediately comes to mind, known for the detail and precision she brings to her illustrations. Her lines are fine and her use of transparency makes her drawings incredibly soft.

For this collection, Vingt-six juin introduces a type of greenery that wasn't part of our catalogue yet: herbs and vegetable gardens. Ideal for a breakfast nook or sunroom, her patterns in neutral colours and lineart style are sure to delight gardening lovers. Plus, her wallpaper lets you enjoy your garden all year round!

For the cottage or the RV

Summer is the season for camping, cottage weekends and long road trips in the RV. More often than not, these spaces are practical and functional, but sometimes lack style and polish. In our view, just because the cottage or camper is a secondary home doesn't mean its look should be an afterthought!

Along the same lines, Valérie Trudel, aka Petit Strudel, brings us wall decals and wallpaper today in vibrant colours that make you want to play.

Finally, Haingo Natacha comes back in force with a new wall decal design specially made to use as a headboard. Given the huge success of her Meva decal, she's now offering a brand new design, the Rofia decal. We also love that she offers patterns that are perfect for use as a kitchen or bathroom backsplash. Wallpaper can indeed be used as a backsplash, as long as it's laminated for extra protection. That makes installing wallpaper as a backsplash in an RV an easy, affordable and lightweight solution (which is nothing to overlook in an RV!).
