The importance of samples

Imagine this scenario: you're in the process of redecorating your living room, and you finally decide to install wallpaper on your TV wall. You shop on several websites, compare materials, colors, patterns... Then you make your final choice and place your order. 

When the package arrives at your home, what a disappointment... the color is not at all like the one on your screen and the pattern is much smaller than you imagined.

Despite our best efforts to ensure that the image displayed on our website is as close to reality as possible, this kind of situation can occur. Indeed, depending on your lighting, the angle from which you view the mural, and your screen, there may be slight differences between the product displayed and the actual product. 

This is why we always recommend purchasing a wallpaper sample.

Our sample model

We have developed a sample model that allows you to see both the actual size of the pattern and the color. Thus, the left part represents the pattern at 100% of its actual scale. This means that the pattern will be this exact size on your wall. The right part, on the other hand, represents the pattern on a smaller scale, but allows you to see all its colors and subtleties.

Testing different materials

All our samples are available in all materials: smooth and textured vinyl, frosted or colored film, and canvas fabric. If you are hesitating between 2 different materials, the ideal is to order 2 samples; one in each material. This way you can compare the finishes on your surface, with the light specific to that room. You can also handle the material, touch the textures and even match your curtain or cushion according to the color of the sample.
