3 Easy Steps to Install Your Peel-and-Stick Wall Mural

Want to refresh your decor in no time, without any mess? It's easy to install our self-adhesive wall murals yourself, since they are peel-and-stick and require no glue or water. Here are 3 simple steps for a successful mural installation.

EASY STEP 1: Prepare for your mural installation

Have you already chosen and ordered your mural on our site? Before starting the installation, complete the following steps.

Have these tools on hand

Prepare the surface

Check that the surface is perfectly clean and smooth. If the wall has
imperfections, remove them by scraping or with sandpaper. Don't forget to remove any dust or residue before installing the mural.

Also unscrew the electrical outlet covers with a screwdriver and set them aside.

EASY STEP 2: Do a temporary application

This step gives you room for error. Since the application is temporary, you can easily adjust the placement of your decorative mural without damaging it.

Unroll the mural

Always start with the panel found at the center of the package.

Do a temporary installation

Unroll the panel and secure it to your wall with masking tape. Always start the mural installation in the top left corner of the surface.

Check the level

Using a level, make sure the panel is straight. Go by the mural's pattern, not by the level of the wall itself.

Easy step 3: Installing your mural

Once the first panel is secured, all that's left is to finish installing the mural.

Thanks to these pro tips, you'll breeze through the application.

Peel back the adhesive's protective backing about 10 cm from the top corner of the panel. Using the application squeegee, secure this section of the panel to the surface.

Working from top to bottom, gradually remove the rest of the protective backing from the mural panel. Work one section at a time. Make sure the panel adheres to the surface using the application squeegee.

If air bubbles form in the panel, poke them with a needle to release the air. Cut around electrical outlets with a utility knife.

Once the first panel is installed, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the wall is covered. Trim off the excess with the utility knife. For more precision, guide the knife with the application squeegee.
